Guayabo Lodge is at two hours from J. S. International Airport and half an hour from Turrialba. Our Eco lodge is at the center of a region with many options for sightseeing, tours and activities.

Tropical Cooking School

Given the success of our Tropical Cooking School, which started with programs developed mainly for culinary students, like those of the Houston and Dallas Art Institutes, we now present to all our guests the option of our unique Tropical Cooking Program that combines Nature, Culture and Culinary Art. (to this you can add some Adventure tours as well).
Our guests will not only learn how to cook typical Costa Rican dishes and explore our new Fusion Kitchen, but will also obtain more in-depth information on the ingredients and will immerse into local culture and habits through participating in rural farms. The Costa Rican Way of Life will provide for an unforgettable experience.
Our Tropical Cooking School Programs are fully part of our Sustainable Tourism and Bio Tourism endeavors.
